E-Dee

SINGER/actor E-Dee and producer Q Million (he worked on American Jazz artist Robert Glasper’s 2012 Grammy-winning album Black Radio) are working on his second album, scheduled for release this summer.

It will have collaborations with several dancehall acts including Future Fambo, Wayne Wonder and Irie Love.

Last year E-Dee scored a minor hit with Ghetto Yutes Rise alongside I-Octane and performed on shows in the United States with acts like Beenie Man.

The California-based artist had a Billboard chart hit in 2008 with Bounce Along (with Ms Triniti) which reached the Top 20 of Billboard’s R&B Hip Hop Songs chart.

His latest songs include So Bad Mind and No other Girl.

E-Dee, who studied acting and music at the Musicians Institute in California, released his debut album JA 2 LA 2 Di World

in 2006.

He followed Bounce Along with the songs Revolution, Irie Love and Rightful Place which did well in Jamaica.

E-Dee (real name Everton Dennis) is also working on the sequel to Out The Gate, the 2011 film which he co-starred with Paul Campbell and Oliver Samuels.
