ELEPHANT MAN’S TRIAL FOR RAPE SET FOR OCTOBER 27!

KINGSTON, Jamaica:

Dancehall entertainer Elephant Man is to return to The Home Circuit Court on October 27 when his trial for rape will begin.

The trial date was set today.

The artist, whose given name is Oneil Bryan, is on bail.

The police say the charges stem from an incident at his St Andrew home in January 2012.

Investigators say a woman filed a police report claiming that the artist sexually assaulted her.

Bryan is being represented by attorney Linda Wright.
