After experiencing a delay at the start of his trial for the Washington, D.C. assault case, Chris Brown must now remain in Los Angeles County Jail for at least another week as his lawyer mulls over his possible probation violation with the prosecutor, according to CNN.
After flying from D.C. to L.A. on the government’s inmate version of the MTA, known as “Con Air”, the “Loyal” singer attended a hearing Thursday (May 1) involving the Rihanna case, looking disheveled in an orange jumpsuit (above).

“He’s doing remarkably well under the circumstances,” Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos told CNN. “It’s a challenging situation to be in. I’m hoping we get it resolved and we get it resolved quickly.”
Geragos will chop it up with Assistant District Attorney Mary Murray over the next week to discuss Brown potentially admitting he violated his probation. The singer’s lawyer said he would also be filing a motion to have Brown released from jail at his May 9 hearing.
