UK BOUND: Reggae star Freddie McGregor—-
REGGAE VETERAN Freddie McGregor headlines an impressive reggae line-up for a very special reggae Valentine’s event.
The Reggae Valentines Showcase kicks off in Manchester on February 13, before heading to Birmingham and culminating in a finale in London on February 15.
In addition to McGregor, who is undoubtedly one of reggae’s most durable and soulful singers, veteran Johnny Osbourne will also be performing. With a career spanning over 25 years, Osbourne is one of Jamaica’s best.
But it’s not just the legends; the Reggae Valentines Showcase will also feature the next generation of reggae stars. Christopher Martin and Romain Virgo, the former winners of Jamaican talent show ‘Digicel Rising Stars’ will be representing the new sound of reggae along with soulful singer Terry Linen.
“My partners and I have put together the cream of reggae lovers rock to deliver a sophisticated evening which will put the romance back into Valentines,” said promoter Omar Harrison
A Valentines show couldn’t be completed without the ladies. UK support is in the form of two women who’re already causing quite a stir on the reggae scene.
Adele Harley has already scored several hits in the iTunes reggae charts. Joining Adele is another up and coming artist from the Stingray camp Yashema McLeod.
Tickets are now on sale for the show everyone’s already talking about.
