ROMAIN VIRGO TAKES IT TO ZIMBABWE!

 Romain Virgo— REPORTS out of the African state of Zimbabwe indicate Jamaican singer Romain Virgo was in fine form during his maiden performance on the weekend. Virgo— who was with his band, The Unit — performed at Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe beauty pageant held at the Glamis Arena in Harare, on Saturday night. Internet reports indicate the former Digicel Rising Stars winner gave a memorable set, as Hazvineyi Chiota was crowned the 2016 queen. The concert failed to attract a mega crowd, but Virgo’s performance was, nonetheless, a thriller, as he belted out hits including  Love Sick, Stay With Me, Stars Across The Sky, Love Doctor, Freedom and Soul Provider. ROMAIN VIRGO MAKES HIS MAIDEN TRIP TO KENYA!

Romain Virgo— Jamaican singing star Romain Virgo is excited about making his maiden trip to Kenya ahead of the Black Opal Face of Zimbabwe pageant at the Glamis Arena on Saturday. Enroute to Zimbabwe, on a short stopover, the reggae music icon is set to arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 8:30pm on September 14, 2016. JAMAICAN REGGAE ACTS FAIL TO IMPRESS U.S. BUYERS, NUMBERS FROM SOUNDSCAN REVEAL!

Figures compiled by sales tracker Soundscan show dismal numbers for most of the albums and EPs on the 50-strong table.   Count Me In by American band Rebelution has so far sold 51,339 copies, the best of the lot. The set has been on the chart for 76 weeks and is currently number five, selling just over 419 copies last week.Amid the Noise & Haste, the Grammy- nominated set from SOJA, another American band, has been in the chart over 67 weeks.
