SINGER/SONGWRITER HOPETON LINDO, RELEASES HIS FOURTH ALBUM “MY WORLD YOUR WORLD!”

Singer/songwriter Hopeton Lindo has released his highly anticipated 4th album “My World Your World”, again he captures the positive vibes on an excellent collection of songs. The multi-talented  Hopeton Lindo or “The Pen” – as he is affectionately called for his ability to write or co-write hit songs like “Red Rose For Gregory” “Telephone Love” “Mr Loverman” “Wanna Be Loved” and many more – is used to donning many hats and this time it is no different. He multi-tasks as songwriter, singer and producer on this sixteen-track journey of which fourteen are originals.

“My World Your World” opens with a remixed of the title track which features the legendary Dennis Brown, Luciano and Sly & Robbie, a second remix with Dennis, Luciano and Dean Fraser, closes out the album. Other featured guests include Anthony B on “Turf” Mikal Rose on “Roadblock People”  Fiona on “In The Mood” and Freddie McGregor and Rory (Stone Love) on “Bite De Dust”.

My World Your World addresses some crucial world issues with songs like “Children Under Attack”  John Lennon’s “Imagine” and “Empress” – which is in celebration of women. The album is  balanced with love songs like “Love You All Over Again” “Hey Girlfriend” “Heavenly” “If You Only Knew” and “Lost Without Your Love”. Hopeton pays tribute to the legendary Gregory Isaacs on the track “Red Rose For Gregory” which was a major radio hit in 2014. An excellent rendition Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” (also a radio hit) is included on “My World Your World.
