BARBADIAN SOCA STAR RUPEE IS BACK IN ACTION!

BARBADIAN soca star Rupee goes for another hit with his latest single Missing in Action (MIA). The song is co-produced by Rupert Clarke, Chris Allman, Antonio Johnson and Rudy S.

The 40-year-old Rupee is best known for the massive hit, Tempted to Touch, which charted on Billboard’s pop chart and made several European charts in 2004.

His other hits include Blame it on The Music and What Happens in The Party. He was signed to Atlantic Records, which released his major label debut 1 on 1 in 2005.

Born in Germany to a Barbadian father and German mother, he resided in the United Kingdom before settling in Barbados. In the late 1990s, he joined the Coalishun Band in Barbados along with singer TC and Adrian Clarke.

After going solo, Rupee hit with Ice Cream and followed-up with Jump.
