ROMAIN Virgo will release his second EP on October 15. Titled Lifted, the seven-track project is spearheaded by Fade Away, a song with Agent Sasco.
Fade Away is co-produced by Viking Productions and Lifeline Productions. The former is owned by Virgo’s longtime manager Darwin Brown.
Lifted also includes a cover of Michael Bolton’s Soul Provider, produced by German company Silly Walks Discotheque, the label behind Chronixx’ massive hit, Smile Jamaica.
God Inna mi Corner, produced by deejay Bling Dawg, is also among the songs.
“The EP showcases the direction to where we are going. We worked with a mixture of different producers to give it a different feel,” Virgo, 25, told the Jamaica Observer.
Introducing Romain Virgo, released in 2010, was his first EP. It came three years after the St Ann-born artiste shot to national prominence following his victory in the Digicel Rising Stars talent competition.
Virgo’s hits include Mi Caan Sleep, The System, Who Feels it Knows It, Live Mi Life, I Know Better and Rich in Love.
