WITH a new song out and an EP on the way, singer Jahmali is ready to kickstart his 2016 campaign with an appearance on opening night of the January 15-16 Rebel Salute.
Best known for the 1998 hit song, El Shadei, Jahmali told Splash he is looking forward to performing on a major Jamaican show for the first time in years.
“Wi want to get the name out there to the youths, ‘cause wi have positive things to tell dem. This year, wi looking for great things,” he said.
In December, Jahmali released the song Done Deal, which is also the title of his pending EP.

Country Road, Armagideon, Keep On Keeping On and Mother Nature are other songs from the mini set which will be distributed through VP Records subsidiary, VPAL.Last Sunday, Jahmali was presented with the Regional Award of Excellence at the Barbados Music Awards in Bridgetown.
