TIMMY LOVE HAS JOINED FORCES WITH LUCIANO ON NEW SINGLE “LOVE & UNITY!”

Three years ago, Timmy Love approached Luciano to record Love & Unity, a song addressing the ills of the world. While the song was recorded, it was not released until recently.

Love, a singer/bassist based in Connecticut, believes this is the appropriate time to hear the song’s message.

“I strongly, strongly believe that this is the perfect time to drop this song as the world is slowly coming back from the (Covid-19) pandemic, war in Ukraine, the attack on democracy in the US, all the discrepancies in the Middle East, and the unlawful deaths of George Floyd and many other black people in the US and around the world,” he said.

Love added that Luciano — whose uplifting songs include It’s Me Again Jah and Lord Give Me Strength — was best suited to help carry Love & Unity.

“I was always drawn to Luciano and his music because of my Christian upbringing and as everyone knows Luciano is also called The Messenger as he sings a lot of cultural, gospel, reggae,” he explained.

Love & Unity is Love’s follow-up to Africa, a cover of the 1982 classic by rock band Toto, which is doing great on the Foundation Radio Network Top 30 Chart.

Timmy Love made his name as a musician on Jamaica’s North Coast, before moving to the United States where he has established himself as leader of the RefleXX Band, with whom he has recorded five albums.
