Earlier this year, WVIP, 93.5FM stopped broadcasting in New York after serving the Caribbean/Jamaican diaspora community for almost 40 years. It was the end of an era.

The dial went silent on Thursday, August 31 when the last program aired at midnight. Hope Media Group signed on soon after with Spanish programs.

Well ladies & gentlemen, Groovin Radio, which had been on the WVIP, 93.5FM platform for more than a decade, began ‘on air’ testing online at www.groovinRadioNY.com on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24. Based on the overwhelming feedback, radio listeners are extremely elated.

Groovin Radio host Ras Clem has now announced that starting Saturday, December 30th, 2023, The Groovin Radio Experience will start streaming live on www.GroovinradioNY.com from 9 am – 12 noon. So join The Groovin Team for an educational and inspirational radio presentation.
