THE RITA MARLEY FOUNDATION HAS STARTED A “CULTURAL STORYTELLING PROGRAM” FOR SCHOOLS IN JAMAICA!

In fulfilling its slogan, Harambe, which means ‘working together’, the Rita Marley Foundation (JA) and renowned Jamaican storyteller Amina Blackwood Meeks have embarked on a Cultural Storytelling Programme for basic schools. The first session was held on January 12 at the Holy Trinity Basic School, Maxfield Avenue, St Andrew. The institution is operated by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. The programme aims to develop creativity, enhance imagination, increase attentiveness and improve communication skills. Blackwood Meeks said, “contributing to the work of the Rita Marley Foundation is not even a question.
