GEORGE NOOKS SAYS “RIDE OUT YOUR STORM” WITH HIS LATEST HIT!

SINGER GEORGE NOOKS SUFFERS SETBACK IN LAWSUIT AGAINST BANK!

 NOOKS… wanted court to strike out bank’s defense against his lawsuit—- ENTERTAINER George Nooks has suffered a blow in his lawsuit which he brought against First Caribbean International after an employee there reportedly drained his account of $15 million. Nooks’ setback came as Supreme Court judge Justice Bryan Sykes recently denied his application to strike out the bank’s defence against his lawsuit. Had Nooks been successful in having the defence struck out, he would have won the case by default. The entertainer had filed the suit after the money, which was deposited in the account in 2013, went missing. JAMAICA JAZZ & BLUES 2015 KICKS OFF TONIGHT WITH A TRIBUTE TO JOHN HOLT!

  Judy Mowatt for opening night.— FLORENCE HALL, Trelawny — Veteran deejay Josey Wales, singers George Nooks, Judy Mowatt and Oscar B are among the performers slated to perform at the kick-off of Jamaica Jazz and Blues 2015 tonight. Other acts on tonight’s line-up include singers Errol Dunkley, Cornell Campbell and vocal group The Tamlins, all backed by Lloyd Parks and We The People Band. Each act will dedicate part of their sets to the late John Holt who died last year. THE JAMAICA JAZZ & BLUES FESTIVAL TO HONOR JOHN HOLT JANUARY 29!

John Holt—– ORGANISERS of the Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival have tapped some of reggae music’s finest to present a tribute to late singer John Holt. The festival is scheduled for the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium from January 29-31. The tribute, however, will be on the opening night. The line-up includes singers Errol Dunkley, George Nooks, Judy Mowatt, Cornell Campbell, vocal group The Tamlins, deejay Josey Wales and soca singer Oscar B, all backed by Lloyd Parks and We The People Band. Each act will dedicate part of their sets to Holt.   Holt hailed from Greenwich Town, a fishing community in Kingston, with a rich music heritage. GEORGE NOOKS STILL J$12m SHORT AFTER BANK FRAUD!

After months, George Nooks is still waiting for more than $12 million dollars that was taken from his account by an employee from a reputable bank in Kingston. The singer tells Music News that though the matter is before the court the process is ridiculously slow. Reports are that in September last year; George Nooks started doing business with the bank and had instructed the woman in question to open a Jamaican and US dollar account for him. However, it is alleged that the woman instead opened two Jamaican dollar accounts.
