MARION HALL FORMERLY LADY SAW, IS STILL “SWEETLY SAVED!”
Marion Hall— “I was once one of those sheep that was lost. But the Lord took time out to search for me, to seek me and now he found me and I’m apart of that flock right now,” said Marion Hall. SISTER MARION AKA LADY SAW, MAKES HER NEW YORK TRI STATE DEBUT LATER THIS MONTH!
Sister Marion— Sister Marion, who, as Lady Saw dominated the United States tri-state region for over 20 years, makes her overseas gospel debut there later this month. She is scheduled to do three shows alongside Stitchie in New York and Connecticut March 25-27. The first show takes place at Family Partnership Center in Poughkeepsie, followed by a gig in Hartford, Connecticut at West Indies Social Club on the 26th. The final show is in the Bronx at Evander Childs High School. She has been quiet for some time but Lady Saw has been busy making big plans. Well, Marion Hall has been busy making big plans. In December when Hall got baptised, she did not just give up working as a dancehall artist, she gave up her name, Lady Saw and took on Minister Marion Hall. Following her decision to become a Christian, Saw, whose real name is Marion Hall, also announced that she would be ceasing her performances as a dancehall artist. “I have spoken, every promoter that I was supposed to work with in the future and started the process to repay them,” explained Saw.
