Cannon, who was a guest at the Jamaica Observer Monday Exchange, said that while it would be good to sign other local artists he has to get his “first Jamaican artist popping” before he decides to sign others. Turner, a former Wolmer’s High School student, is promoting her music as she tries to tap into the local dancehall industry.
