Beware, the 36th album from Sanchez, will be released on April 25. The 14-song set is produced by Lloyd ‘John John’ James.
On it, the veteran singer collaborates with Sizzla Kalonji, Tony Curtis, Beenie Man and up-and-coming artist Mowet.
“This is actually my 36th album and it feels like my first. As usual, it has been great working with John John and all the artists and musicians involved on this project. There were some great recording sessions, which, looking back, we should have had a video camera rolling, because the vibes and the energy and the creativity were way way up,” said Sanchez.
Beware, his fifth album with James, is being released on the John John label.
A dancehall heavyweight, Sanchez has been active on the local show scene recently after an extended break. He is scheduled for a Caribbean tour in May and a handful of shows in Canada in June.His latest single, Nah Ease Up, is current No.5 on The Foundation Radio Network Chart, and No.6 on the South Florida Top 25, and is produced by Lloyd Campbell.
